Hello,

I have a typical question for using the framebuffer that I wrote with Nanogui.
My LCD graphic controller has no video memory available to be mapped in
framebuffer driver (.mmap function). I would like to know if we can use
nanogui knowing that we cannot write directly in video memory. We must
communicate through the fb_ops structure of my framebuffer to write pixel,
line, etc onto LCD screen.

I tried to test a demo application (mdemo) and there is many calls to
gen_fillrect which it writes in video memory mapped. But, unfortunately no
call done to the framebuffer driver when write or read is done into this
reserved memory.

Is there a way to use nanogui layers with my framebuffer without using mmap
function?

My LCD screen has the following resolution : 256x64, monochrone.

Best regards

Christian
