which font encoding are you using?
8 bit chars,
UTF8,
UTF16
UTF32
what else?
have you added the needed font encoding flags to your text output function
calls?

when i run nano-X & sleep ;chinesedsp (chinesedsp is my test program to
disp chinese with font HZK16),it can run but Chinese words cann't disp
clearly, someone gives me suggestions that the hzk16 must contain even
number words ,is it right and how can i do it, thanks for any suggestions !
thanks ! (additional the system I use is uclinux ,and the hardware is ARM7
S3C44B0, compile tool is arm-elf-tools-20030314.sh )
