I'm trying to cross-compile microwindows on an i686 Linux box for a
ColdFire m547x linux board, and I'm running into a bit of trouble.

Since my target and host have different byte orders, I have to define
BIGENDIAN=y in my config file, and since Makefile.rules wants to use
HOSTCC to generate the dependencies, this fails since swap.h complains
about mismatch in the byte ordering.

I've changed the MW_MAKE_DEPEND_C macro to use $(CC) instead of
$(HOSTCC), and so far(I'm now stuck trying to find X11 header files to
install int he cross toolchain) it seems to work.

Is there any issues that might bite me by making this change?
