: I have seen strong recommendations to use FLTK with the NXLib X
: emulation library as opposed to using FLNX.

This is because FLNX is based on an ancient version of FLTK.

: I have successfully
: cross-compiled NXLib, both 0.44 and 0.45 (which one is recommended???)

Definitely use 0.45, it is much enhanced for newer versions of
FLTK and GTK+. Also, there the CVS version of NXLIB
fixes a few compilation issues.

: Am I correct in thinking that I have to build the original libXext.so for
: the ARM platform or is there a specific one that is designed to be
: compatible with NXLib?

libXext is sometimes specified in makefiles, even though no
routines are actually called. I've been wondering whether
NXLIB should produce an empty libXext.so to help.

Regards,

Greg
