I think that before I  start on something so large (and peripheral to my 
project) I think I will try to make some minor changes to cdk and nxterm 
to make them play nice.....

 From the code it looks as though nxterm should be able to move the 
cursor around....  I'm not sure why it doesn't, unless the termtype and 
the escape codes don't match....

Maybe add a termtype nxterm that cdk can work with, and change the cdk 
code to be more frugal with screen space...
