Gil Glass,

Yes but i don't use the NANO-X for my project.

I use only Win32 libraries. And my target board doesnot support for nano-x.

Is there any method do using win libraries not nono-x.

Harsha

  Harsha,

Nano-X is a powerful tool that allows you to draw text and graphics on a screen as well as respond to certain system events such as keypresses, mouse button clicks, etc.

However, if I'm understanding your posting correctly, you are looking for a user interface "widget" where a widget is just a common object used in user interfaces. Examples of widgets are list boxes, pop-up menus, edit boxes, slide controls, etc. Nano-X does provide you with everything you need to create the widget that you need (a list box if I remember correctly) but it does not provide the widget directly. As I mentioned, I am writing a couple of widgets for use in my project but that is because I only need two or three different ones and those provided by FLTK are not exactly what I want.

Now, if you don't want to design your own widgets, you may use the Fast Light Toolkit (FLTK) which has everything in it that you need. You just have to instantiate the widget that you want and <BOOM> it's there for you to use. Keep in mind though that you'll have to have Xlib installed or use an X emulation library, like NXLib (also available from the Nano-X website) in order to utilize FLTK.

Clear? Is there still something that I'm not answering?
