I had the same problem at one time. The blinking cursor was from a getty
running on
/dev/tty1 using the framebuffer.

All I had to do was:

echo -e '\033[?25l' > /dev/tty1

to get the blinking cursor to turn off.

I hope this helps.

>Hello, I need help because I tried with many different configs but nothing change: when I launch a microwindows app, the command line seems to be continuously active: you can see the prompt blinking in the bottom left corner of the desktop, and ifyou press any keyboard key, the corresponding character will compare right there. It seems that the command line is always active.
