In OE, they define a "site" file for each architecture that contains the 
accumulated collection of autoconf variables for all packages in OE, which is
then passed to each configure script with the -C or --cache-file option.
There's also an environment variable to pass in the file location too.

In fact, thats where I got those defines from that I listed in my last
e-mail.  Its nice to have them all in one location, like that.. :)
