Hi All,

Currently, I tried to run nano-X over Screen Driver - X11, it works
fine. But when I try it wid framebuffer I get an error:

Error opening /dev/fb0: No such device: Check Kernel Config
Cannot initialize screen.

I read thru the mailing archives, it tells me to check the kernel for framebuffer support.

In kernel config (make menuconfig)
> Device Drivers > Graphics Support > Support for Frame Buffer Devices (*)
is enabled.

now is this sufficient. Or do I need to check something else ??

Note: I have also checked the Env Variable: FRAMEBUFFER which was initially not set.
then I made it :
export FRAMEBUFFER=/dev/fb0
also tried /dev/fb

What else can I check ?
How else do I verify framebuffer support in the kernel ?

-Manav.
