where is the framebuffer module?
From: dai hongbo ####@####.#### Date: 7 Jan 2000 01:15:06 -0000 Message-Id: <38753C06.9DA78EE9@hw.ia.ac.cn> I downloaded the lastest microwindows 0.87pre2,and succeeded compiling it,but I failed to run the demo with a message "module fb0 not found, can not open /dev/fb0" printed on my screen. How to solve this problem? Thanks a lot. Dai hongbo | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

RE: where is the framebuffer module?

This means that the framebuffer isn't compiled into the kernel. Read the framebuffer howto or mwin/src/INSTALL for more installation. Unfortunately, Linux framebuffer setup is notoriously a pain and out of this project's influence....
