wterm , nterm, mterm problem
From: Jungjun Kim ####@####.#### Date: 7 Sep 2000 01:54:26 -0000 Message-Id: <00090711000900.11629@amba> Hello, I build microwindows and linux kernel for our ARM720 based system. When I run a few demos in the release, everything is fine except one thing. When I move the terminal windows with my serial mouse, the entire characters in term are gone away. I think that the nano-X(?) server or nanowm should redraw the terminal contents after moving windows. Does the microwindows demos orignally have that problem in itself? Or, is the problem because of linux kernel or something else I'm using? Please let me know? Thanks in advance. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Yes, the wterm and nterm programs don't yet redisplay their contents on an expose event. This requires a slight enhancement in the wterm.c program itself, where the characters displayed are kept in a virtual buffer, and re-displayed on an expose event.
