Hi,

Please make sure that your pinyin.cin has the right format.
Take cj.cin as an example.

You might have to provide us some more information about
what and how you have done. Maybe you can send us your
pinyin.cin such that we can test it and include it into our patch.

Best Regards,

Hi, I have a pinyin.cin, but I don't know whether it has the right
format and how to generate it. Can you tell me some basic knowledge
about relation between input method and font? I think if I have the
right format file of pinyin.cin and add some code of input method switch ,
then I have pinyin input method ,is it true?
    Thank you very much!

Please check phone.cin and cj.cin for the format.
You might also read microwin/src/demos/kbd/ime.c
and some other related source. They are the only "document"
that we have for now.

I checked pinyin.cin and found that it is a "phrase-based cim".
I don't think that our current implementation will support it by
just replace phone.cin with pinyin.cin. But it should be easy if you
have studied the implementation and found out where we have
assumed implicitly "word-based" input.

You will have to modify the demo application, too. Check the
README file comes with our patch. There is a section describing
how to modify APPs to support chinese input.

I hate to say that we are now busy in some other tasks and get no time
on this issue for now. You are more than welcomed if you can contribute
your patch.
