about nanox/client.1 and nanox/clien.2

And, we are confused with the existence of nanox/client.1 and nanox/client.2. According to the result of diff command, these files look like historic version of nanox/client.c. What's the purpose of client.1 and client.2 ? Regard, Akihiko Shiotani (FUJUTSU-TEN Limited)

Those are just garbage files that sneaked there way past the delete key. Try to ignore them. You probably should keep them, in case you ever want to turn in a patch, otherwise when you diff they will appear in the patch. You are correct. Hopefully Greg will remove them in the next release, now that he is using CVS to track old versions instead... -- ------- Alex Holden ------- http://www.linuxhacker.org/ http://www.robogeeks.org/

Yes, Gary and Alex are right, they're figments of an earlier implementation. I'll remove them in the CVS version. Whenever I make major changes in an implementation that may cause the system to fail catastrophically, I typically save the earlier version in a .1 file. This is only so that I can quickly diff the results should the system fail so that it can quickly be brought back up to an earlier implementation. These files were created when I add the client-side event queuing, but it seems that it works!
