Hello,

Can somebody explain how to use tpcal program? An attempt to run it on iPAQ gives a message "Bus Error".

Thank you,

Leah.

Hi,
I am now using mou_ipaq driver for my touch screen. But I can't access
some part on the side of my microwindow, and I think I need to do the
calibration. But in the mou_ipaq.c, I don't see a function to read in
the value-file after calibration like /etc/pointercal. Nor did the file
include some transformation function. Do you know how should I do the
calibration with this??
The calibration program I use is tpcal and it returns 7 numbers.

thank you

Vic

On the Ipaq, much of the calibration is handled by the kernel driver and the
touchscreen hardware. You simply determine the minimum and maximum values
for both x and y and pass them to the kernel. Check www.handhelds.org for a
few Ipaq calibrators.
