Hi,

Ii used microwindows v 0.89 pre5, and my png where very well displayed. Now I've upgraded to v0.89 pre7, and the same png img are ugly (jpeg are OK, and much faster!!). Any idea?

Can you try displaying your images with the nxview application (previously I
think this was demo6 or demo3).  I would like to know what bpp you
are running, whether you're on framebuffer or X, and exactly what you
mean by ugly.  It sounds like Microwindows might be dithering your
images to 256 colors, for example.

I would like to know whether the nxview application acts differently
while displaying a single image on pre5 vs pre7, using the same bpp screen.
