Has anyone encountered problems using gdb on binaries compiled
with gcc 2.95.3-5?

I have observed it only on fairly large binaries (microwindows).

gdb refuses to load the symbol table...

Does that happen in other version too?
Have you thinka bout using gcc 3.0?
I'm already using it, and I didn't encountered any problem.
