nanogui: Thread: nanogui for uClinux

Hello All,

In browsing the archives, it looks like microwindows/nano-x had been ported
to uClinux for Coldfire.  However this does not seem to one of the
"official" support targets. Any information as to whether this will be
supported or are there any diffs available for the latest
microwindows/nano-x releases? How difficult is something like this to port
to uClinux?

I have not received any diffs for a uClinux port, but will certainly
include them if required.  I suspect just the Arch.rules and possibly
a few makefiles and possibly a screen driver would be all the changes.

Should be very straightforward, writing the screen driver for
a new device will be necessary unless uClinux supports a standard
linux kernel framebuffer, which it might... (I don't know)

Hi Mark,

I am running Microwindows on uClinux for ARM, not for Coldfire.  But I
do not think it should be
too difficult to get it compiled and running.

Just add your own architecture in 'config' and 'Arch.rules'.  You may
have to modify your screen
driver according to your display hardware.
