Subject:
porting nanoGTK to PPC ?
From: Jim Lasswell ####@####.#### Date: 31 Aug 2002 18:51:47 -0000 Message-Id: <1030818742.4442.71.camel@fitty.jimnmitty.us> Hello, I've recently got microwindows/nano-X running on a custom built QuickStack, MPC823, system with an LCD screen. I am looking for a solution to ease our application development efforts, and nanoGTK seems to be it. My boss can program whatever user space stuff he wants on his desktop with Glade, maybe? I can currently build and run nanoGTK on my RH7.1 desktop system, but am lost on how to go about porting it to PPC. I've been digging around the tree and looking at the rebuild.sh and makeit.sh files in each branch head and see where I can _probably_ add to the scripts to handle PPC. I already have ports for glib 2.1.3, microwindows and zlib. I guess my first question would be has anyone else gone down this path and have any suggestions? Second would be if this is too big of a task, is there an alternative solution for the PPC? Thanks for your time, Jim Lasswell .:':. .:'. . .':. .:'. . . . . ':. .:' . . . . . . . .':.
