While hacking together a 4bpp pxa210/hantronix lcd framebuffer subdriver, I noticed a MODE_XOR flag. What does it do? It it something that can be set at runtime? My driver doesn't appear to be configured in that mode at any time, is it safe to remove the check for it?

instead of writing pixels to the screen the MODE_XOR flag will draw
using an XOR instruction instead of writes. it's very useful for mouse
pointers.
