In your second question, I believe you are referring to nano-X, and whether it requires X windows to operate (Please correct me if I'm wrong). I think the answer is, it depends. Typically, nano-X is run on top of the linux framebuffer, as a small-footprint replacement for X Windows. Also, (although I haven't tried this), nano-X can be run directly on hardware. There is also the facility of running nano-X on top of X windows. Although this seems to defeat the purpose of using nano-X in the first place, it is useful for testing on a development host in an X Windows environment. Hope this helps, George Goh On Sat, 2004-03-27 at 03:55, Nguyen The Luan wrote: > Hi All > > I wonder that > NanoGui is based on Xwindows or not? > And can we run NanoGui without supporting of Xwindows > > Best Regard > Nguyen | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
