Subject:
Another timer bug starting from boot script
From: tj ####@####.#### Date: 23 Jun 2004 07:50:18 +0100 Message-Id: <40D92816.2040106@comcast.net> Well Greg, I found another timer problem when starting nano-X from a startup script. Well, actually theproblem happens when it is started by hand after boot. Well anyway, if you have a massive time change, using data, ntpdate, etc, while your app with timer s is running, you get no more timer events. My app runs on a small "portable" device with no cmos. It of course boots to a previous date. Now, it is wireless and when it finally finds a network, it does an ntpdate to get the correct time and boom, my GrTimerEvent() events quit happening. Guess you use time somewhere in the guts, huh. Kill the app and restart it, not an option though, the timers start working correctly. Well, cul tj | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
