: when i launch viewml to visit some websit, it prints "nano-X: client
closed socket: 11", then
: the pipeline is broken and viewml is exit.

This usually means ViewML crashed. For initial testing, run everything
on x86 desktop linux using X11 display. For example, the PIXIL
ViewML release does just that, and your web sites can be tested.
We're not aware of sites crashing ViewML, although many things
aren't implemented.

Regards,

Greg

i have written a bash-script to detect the viewml's status: when the client is crashed to exit by any reason,
a new viewml will be launched... :)

here i meet another 2 problems:
1) how to make sure client A starts earlier than client B?
for example, `bin/nano-X & bin/nxkbd & /path/to/viewml/executable', it's not sure that nxkbd will start earlier
than viewml, so, how to make sure of this?

2) two client, nxkbd and viewml, how to change the Z-order between them? which API is fittable for this?

thanks in advance

yourse sincerely,
zeng

You can use a "sleep 1;" between statements, that usually
solves the problem.

The GrRaiseWindow/GrLowerWindow API is used to change
window Z-order. This is handled through mouse-clicks on the
title bar by the window manager when it (nanowm) is running.
