Currently, there is not support for all of this standard. Is there any plan for completing every API in the APIW standard? Or which parts of this standard would never be implemented? Currently, there is : not support for all of this standard. Is there any plan : for completing every API in the APIW standard? Or : which parts of this standard would never be : implemented? Initially, I was going to support tyhe ECMA APIW standard. However, this standard is for the 16 bit windows api, not the 32 bit windows api. The values of the SendMessage parameters are quite different between 16 and 32 bit. I feel that its not very valuable to support the 16 bit API. My plans for implementation are to include 100% of the Win32 GDI api; (this is well on it's way, although certain parts, like the 256 different ROP codes, will never be completed, or it won't be "Micro"). In addition, for built-in window mgr support, I have been implementing portions of the USER api (user32.dll). The kernel32.dll api will probably not be implemented, as it doesn't really belong in a windowing system. I have been writing progs mostly for nano-X and haven't tried the Microwindows api yet. On my device I can't seem to get the Nano-X to work so I thought of using Microwindows. So what are the differences here ? PS : when running mtest or any other m-Demo I see the windows and everything but the screen flickers as if it's refreshing in a strange way. Why ? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

The microwindows api is win32 compliant, which is its advantage. The disadvantage is its not client/server capable, and not X11 or nano-X compliant.
