Dear All,

I have downloded the MicroWindows-0.90 version on the Red Hat 9.0
machine with the kernel version 2.4.20-8. I had read the complete
ReadMe and Install documents and issued the make command in the src
directory.

But the make failed giving following errors:

font_freestyle.c-deferencing invalid pointer.
font_freestyle.c-undefined symbols like TT_OK, etc.

Note that all the errors are from font_freestyle.c file which we
find in engine directory. I googled on the above phrase but didnot get
anything that looked useful.

What is the step missing in the installation? Is there any document
to be read before installation other than ReadMe, INSTALL, Configure.

Thanks and Regards.

You are trying to compile the freetype font rendering system
and its not installed on your system. Edit your config
file and set the FREETYPE options to =N
