It's been there for some time, I thought I took care of it before but it seem to re appear. Any thoughts? _______________________________________________ Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com The most personalized portal on the Web! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I am also using Busybox now. I think new kernel (2.6...) and/or (missing?) driver and/or Busybox introduced this problem again. I am not even sure if the escape sequences work with my new setup anymore. I would be interested to know the fix once anybody finds it. I set HAVETEXTMODE=Y and it got rid of the cursor as well as all of my debug messages. I guess you cannot have best of both, so I will change HAVETEXTMODE(=Y) together with DEBUG(=N) and be done with it.
