Just enable the "LINK_APP_INTO_SERVER=Y" in the config file.
Then recompile the microwindows libraries and link your new library to your application.

But you're on the right way. I think there's something wrong in your flow.
May be LINK_APP_INTO_SERVER=Y is not recognized correctly. Be sure
to use a big "Y", a small one is forced to "N".
Try a "make clean" before recompiling microwindows.
Also try to start one of the demos to be sure the LINK_APP_INTO_SERVER=Y
has correctly compiled into the project. If the demos are running correctly, you can be sure that the created library is correct, too.
May be its also usefull to link all statically, to be sure that you are really using
what you want to use. May be your Application uses a shared lib at runtime which has been compiled with other options.

Check if you're loading the correct binary.
Also, If you're editing the config file manually make sure there is no
space after the 'Y'. That enforces a 'N' even if you have a capital 'Y'
