Hello,

I'm using a PXA270 based embedded system with nano-X.
When I start the nano-X server from a serial line console, everything
works fine. But when I try to start nano-X from a telnet console or from
a system-init-script, I get the error message:

  kbd_ttyscan.c:TTY_Open: ERR KDGKMODE
  Cannot initialise keyboard

What am I missing (do I have to set an environment variable or someting
like that?)? I am using a matrix keyboard connected to the
pxa270-keyboard interface.

Thank you very much!

Regards
Klaus Fürth

First, check drivers/kbd_ttyscan.c. You may need to open
/dev/console, rather than /dev/tty. It appears nano-X thinks
your telnet pty is the console...

This can be overcome by unsetting KBDSCAN in the
config file, and just running the normal TTYKBD.

Greg
