From: "Greg Haerr" ####@####.#### Date: 22 Dec 2007 01:16:16 +0000 Message-Id: <009f01c84438$2f1ee3b0$6401a8c0@winXP> : Why does the mdemo work and the nano-X doesn't ? mdemo uses the win32 api, which doesn't support client/server, instead only a single app can run at once, which has the graphics routines linked in with the application. This just shows that your problem with nano-X not working has to do with the client connecting to the server, which requires UNIX local sockets, running as root, and a writeable /tmp. : : Wht is the mdemo showing ? Its a graphics demo. For more details, read the source src/demo/mwin/mdemo.c. Regards, Greg | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
