Hi !

I am quite new to embedded linux and nanogui. I am trying to use
nanogui/microwindows with an ATMEL ARM processor (AT91SAM9261). So what
I did is that I chosse the "iPaq" configuration script when
(cross)compiling microwindows. (Cross)compiling went fine, no errors. So
I installed microwindows under linux on my ATMEL ARM board.

The problem is, when i want to run a sample application with:
"bin/nano-X & sleep 1; bin/world"
nothing happens. I get no error either, which maybe is positive, but the
console simply "hangs" and no graphic appears. When I force the program
to terminate by pressing "Ctrl-c" I get a message like:
"[3] + Stopped (tty output) bin/nano-X"

What could be the cause of the problem ? Is my processor maybe not
supported ? Is there something wrong with the frame-buffer ? What
configure switches should I use ? I mean: iPaq may not be a good choice
for my ATMEL system. Any suggestions are very welcome.

regards

 Martin

Are you running over embedded linux? do you see the penguin on the screen when Linux starts? First test that your framebuffer works adn then look at toher things. you may want to compile uWin using the BUILD APP IN TO SERVER OPTION to avoid problems due to missing libraries, path, Busybox not supporting the sleep option, etc.If you see the penguin at boot-up time and it clears when running your commend below, that means that nano-X loads correctly but because of some reason the app is not running. My problem is with the pinting device I already got passed your stage last week. Good Luck!C--- On Thu 04/20, Martin Schuppius < ####@####.#### > wrote:From: Martin Schuppius [mailto: ####@####.#### ####@####.#### Thu, 20 Apr 2006 16:44:17 +0200Subject: [nanogui] Nothing happensHi !I am quite new to embedded linux and nanogui.
