EDMGRB8KJF LCD Touchscreen on Gumstix
From: "Demetris Zavorotnichenko" ####@####.#### Date: 26 Jun 2006 16:27:34 +0100 Message-Id: <006501c69934$fee83de0$0100a8c0@3dmaster> Has anyone tried to connect this touchscreen to Gumstix? I have connected it to gumstix and aded support for TSLIB. I tried running ts_calibrate but on the value of pressure i get a constant 860, so TSLIB thinks as if the Touchscreen is always pressed and can't calibrate correctly. Did anyone have this problem? On gumstix there are 4 pins to plug it onto, how can it be hardware? The cursor mooves accordingly (not completely in all directions) but this is due to calibration i think. So what can be wrong? If ts_calibrate is responding without a touch event, that would probably mean you have false events and may want to take a second look at your driver. That's about all I can contribute. --- On Mon 06/26, Demetris Zavorotnichenko < ####@####.#### > wrote: From: Demetris Zavorotnichenko [mailto: ####@####.#### To: ####@####.#### Date: Mon, 26 Jun 2006 19:59:34 +0300 Subject: Re: [nanogui] EDMGRB8KJF LCD Touchscreen on Gumstix The touchscreen is a 4 Wire resistive touchscreen. When i Run ts_test or ts_print, i get the numbers for X and Y but the Z remains stable. >take a second look at your driver. Where is this driver located? what can be wrong with it? i haven't used TSLIB in microwindows YET. Just the TSLIB software it selve, what drivers are you talking about? where are they located?
