Hi,

i use nxlib, nano-X and fltk-utf8-1.1.6 and get serval times following error message :

nxclient 913: Wrong packet type 61 (expected 24) .

In most cases the fltk app or nano-X server freeze but dosn't crash for instance with segmentation fault!

Whats the problem?
What can i do to avoid the problem?

Regards
K

This is caused by the nano-X client and server getting out
of sync, which is most likely caused by running a threaded
application which is either not compatible with nano-X
system, or not having the THREADSAFE option turned
on in the microwin config file.

Greg

Hi Greg,

thank's for your answer!

The nano-X is compiled with the "THREADSAFE = Y" option.
Fltk is also compiled with the "--enable-threads" option.
Yes, the fltk app. is a threaded application but
what can i do to make this compatible whis nano-X?

Regards,

K

I don't know, since I stay away from anything C++.
I suggest you ask the FLTK guys on their list, they
may have dealt with this. Basically, only one thread
can make nano-X calls, or things can get messed
up.

Greg
