Hi, I am working on a STB with Linux as the OS, it has linux framebuffer
driver ,i.e /dev/fb0,
also it has some driver OSD driver like DrawRect(), FillRect(),
DrawBitmap(),etc.

so basically we can have a GUI and accept remote control command to
control the STB.

But since many customer want to have a embedded browser in addition to
our current software.
why? because an browser is also a kind of GUI, what is the primary
reason to want a browser?

because I am trying to port a open source embedded browser to our
system. I have to understand a little more first.

can Nano-X be ported? what else component should I port to?
I am new to browser porting, please excuse.

Thanks
Houxiang

I'm not quite sure what you're asking here, nano-X isn't
a browser, but instead a graphical windowing system
for embedded devices. If you're looking for a browser,
you'll need to start with a clear specification of the
functions it needs to implement, like CSS, Javascript,
etc etc

Greg
