Subject:
microwindows-0.91 and fonts on ARM system
From: "Thomas Malkus" ####@####.#### Date: 21 May 2007 14:31:13 +0100 Message-Id: <4385.217.85.207.166.1179754156.squirrel@isnix.homelinux.org> Hi there, I am using microwindows-0.91 with fltk on an embedded arm system (AT91RM9200 processor). I have a problem to use other fonts as the builtin. If I use bdf or pcf Fonts with setting the ENV-Variable MWFONTDIR to my fontdir, I got always the error in fnt_createfont or pcf_createfont that the font could not be found. I have changed the source and saw that the file will be found. I think the font file is not ok but have not the knowledge about fonts that I could find the error. I use the fonts in src/fonts/bdf. So I tried to build a freetype-1.3.1 library, but this ends in many compile errors. At last I tried freetype-2.3.4 That was better but I got an error with font_freetype2.c : /home/tom/portux/sysapps/microwindows-0.91/src/engine/font_freetype2.c: In function `freetype2_createfont_internal': /home/tom/portux/sysapps/microwindows-0.91/src/engine/font_freetype2.c:618: error: structure has no member named `font' I searched this list and found something about changes with this file, but can't find a patched version. Please, where I can find the patched version of microwindows to use with freetype2? Or exist a short How-To to compile microwindows to use extra fonts? Thanks, Tom -- | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
