Hi,

I am trying to display some Japanese characters on Screen with Uclinux running on Blackfin 561. The Frame buffer is enabled and I am able to print English alphabets on screen without any problem. But when I try it for Japanese, I get some weird things on screen. Kindly suggest on what has to be done.

Pls help as I am new to this.

Thanks,

It's hard to help when you don't give any technical details. For
instance, what's a japanese character? Are you talking about a
font, an text encoding, and API call, huh what? How about some
examples? Have you checked the demos/nanox/t1lib.c for examples?
