Subject:
"Couldn't connect to nano-X server"

I have built the server for my embedded ARM9 board and it is running – the screen goes from multi-coloured garbage to all black when I start it so I am encourage. I try to start the tux demo application and it comes back with “Couldn’t connect to nano-X server”. It retries 10 times and then gives up. A ps listing shows me the server is still there and I can ping the 127.0.0.1 interface so the TCP/IP stack is up and running. What else do I need to do? Thanks, Richard. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
