Nano-X with mou_ser.c is hanging up, when clicking too fast on both buttons!
From: "Wein, Peter (ext)" ####@####.#### Date: 21 Nov 2007 18:53:52 +0000 Message-Id: <0C9BD57BDE7F5947B6E8AF9C655EBD990126BE69@khes0e1a.ww001.siemens.net> Hello, I only want to report it: I have an ARM9-System with a USB-mouse connected. Never before I used that mouse configuration with mou_ser.c. But now, as I try to develop a twin mouse/touch solution for Touch and for mouse I encountered that above described behaviour. As I took the old Nano-X with only Serial mouse configured, it was the same. System run stable unless I clicked very often on both mouse buttons. Any idea or did someone encountered the same problems? Regards Peter

Are you saying that this problem occurs in the standard nano-X with one mouse, or only after your two-input device mod? Make sure you're running the (CVS) version of nano-X that has the "quit server" command commented out - this was the case when both mouse buttons were pressed at the same time. Otherwise, it seems that there may be a race condition in the code in GsCheckMouse where the global state of the buttons is kept. Can you describe what happens in more detail, other than the system "hangs". Regards, Greg
