Hey,

too much different versions around and too much patches made :-((((
Okay next try to shed some light into this story...
First of all, it seems, that the old 0.41_4 which work a month ago
for Gene and Reinhard is not identical to the 0.41_4 which is now
available - again my chaotic version management...

Again:
- 0.41_3 is the stuff in the SANE 1.0.7
then I made a version 0.41_4 with the additions for NON-Plustek
models. This one has been tweaked with the settings from Reinhard and
Gene AND has never found it's way back to the internet as 0.41_5
Instead of this version, I have patched the working 0.41_4 with
stuff from Allan to make the UMAX 3400 work and decided to release
the 0.42_0 test-version...
In the meantime, I also updated the parallel-port stuff of 0.41_3 two times
so I got 0.41_4 and 0.41_5 BUT without the goodies for the USB side -
everything clear - not really ;-)

So I try to find the OLD 0.41_4 and insert ONLY Genes' settings for the
EPSON and hopefully it'll work...

Oh boy, hard stuff without hardware...
I'll put the version this evening (CET) onto the net and tell you where
to find it.

Gerhard
