I bought myself a hp scanjet 2200C today. And got it to work with sane in a
matter of minutes.

Great work, sane coders! Thank you!

There's just one thing that's not working. I think I've read all available
documentation and I did browse the mailing list archives without finding an
answer.

I can't scan whole A4:s because the scanning starts about a cm before the
glass starts and ends about the same lenght before it ends.

Is this a calibation problem that could be solved in software (existing or
not) or is my hardware broken? Should I return to the dealer and get it
changed tomorrow, aid in fixing the driver or have I simply missed a config
option?

I'm running debian sid on a digital personal workstation.

These are my installed versions of the relevant packages:

libsane 1.0.7-3.2 API library for scanners
sane 1.0.7-2.1 Scanner graphical front-ends
xsane 0.84-2 a gtk based X11 frontend for SANE
libusb-0.1-4 0.1.5-4 Userspace USB programming library
