Hi All,
Let me start by telling you how much I enjoy the work for the plustek based
scanner series. I know I bought a troublesome device with the HP 2100c, but
it worked before so I thought I would write you and maybe fix this
problem...
When I first downloaded sane (1.0.?) which I believe to be 1.0.6 or 1.0.8, I
ran the hp2100c scanner just fine. Now I run SANE 1.0.10 (but experience the
same problems with 1.0.9): the scanner does very bad calibration and runs
against the end of the scanner at the end of the scan, making squieking
noises.
I turn off the power immediately, but I would like to know if you changed
anything with respect to the calibration code so that the 2100c could have
stopped working?
If you point out in the code where I should look, I would be glad to help,
but I have no idea about the coordinates you want me to fill in in the
plustek.conf file...
