Hi,
some time ago I wrote to the list because I had problems with my Plustek OpticPro 4830P. Gerhard wrote to
export SANE_DEBUG_PLUSEK=12 and to
scanimage ....

Another thing that might help: sometimes the driver sees a 6000/6000P type scanner instead of the 4830P (??)
