Hi!

I have a Fedora Core 3 installed on a Abit VA-20 Motherboard with a Semprom
2200 processor. The sane-backend installed came from the
sane-backends-1.0.15-1.4.i386.rpm package.

I've already tested my parallel port with an Apollo printer. The parallel port
and the parport module seemed to work fine. The scanner also works fine on a
Windows machine.

I've tried changing to SPP mode and adding the "options parport_pc io=0x378
irq=none" to my /etc/modpobe.conf file... the lamp just turns up and will
never turn out no matter what i do...

Below is output i'm getting and it's is the same for EPP and SSP modes, except
for the "[plustek_pp] Setting EPP-mode" line:

[root@nemesis log]# scanimage -L

I've ran out of ideias on how to solve this problem... any directions would be
appreciated.
