Hi,

the FAQ is correct, except for the SuSE 7.1 distribution.
They have a problem with their header files:

To work around this problem, you have to patch the file:
/usr/src/linux/include/linux/version.h 
Simply change the line
#define UTS_RELEASE "2.4.0"
to
#define UTS_RELEASE "2.4.0-4GB" 

After changing this, rebuild the driver
This should help.
