plustek: Thread: My scanner is not yet supported :-(

Hello,
I have a GENIUS HR6 USB scanner but with usb id 2004.
Unfortunately it is different from usb id 2007.
Inside the scanner I have found following chips:

Please can you tell me if you plan to make a driver for this scanner or
if I can do something to help you in supporting it?

Hi,

this scanner is in fact a parallelport device which maps its port
via parallel-to-usb brigde to the USB bus...
As I do not have the protocol for the bridge, I do not plan to support
these devices... The same applies to the Plustek U12 (product ID 0x0001),
from the technical point of view the two scanner are identical...
