Hi,

I just installed sane, xsane, and the plustek drivers without any 
problems. However, when I tried scanning an image using xsane, I got a 
VERY red image. Has anyone else experienced this problem before??

Yes. I had a similar problem with sane 1.0.7. Upgrading to 1.0.8 fixed it.
