plustek: Thread: UT24

Since two days 
I'm been traing to install UT24 (Plustek's scanner) for may Mandrake 9.0. 
. 
I have installed sane-backend-1.0.9 with plustek-sane-0.44.10. I'v 
compilled sources and I'v used 'make' ond 'make install' as su. 
Sane-finde-scanner 
recognizes my scanner. The Usb View is OK also. I'v written the rekomended 
line for /etc/module.conf. 

Scanimage is  not still  cooperating  with my device. Xsane-0.89 does not 
recognize the scanner.
What do you know about  UT25 (Plustek) under linux Mandrake 9.0 I have 
been working 
with Slackware 8.0 witout luck.


Please, help me!

Hi,

you should check at least your SANE installation (dll.conf) within this
file, plustek should be enabled (remove the #) or at least this entry
is missing.
If this does not help, enable the backends debug output and try 
scanimage -L again:

export SANE_DEBUG_PLUSTEK=12
scanimage -L

Send the output to the list...
