Hi Nancy,

Windows XP drivers for the Plustek scanners can be found on the Plustek
website http://www.plustek.com/ .
Just click Downloads, read the Windows XP Support Statement, and look
for drivers for your scanner.

It is somewhat unlikely to expect drivers here ;)

Regards,
Arjan

Hi,

I recently bought a Plustek scanner OpticPro ST24 (VendorID 0x07B3, ProductID 0x0601) with USB interface for scanning some color slides. I now have the problem to get this scanner running with my maschine (RH-7.3). I tried the new version of sane and downloaded the latest version of the driver package for plustek-sane modules. But I always get the error message "undefined dependencies"!
Is there any driver available for this scanner or how can I fix the problem to get that scanner working with sane? Obviously, I am not fond of coding a new driver by myself.

Thanks
Norbert Engler

Hi Norbert,

that's bad luck so far as these devices are currently not supported!
The new generation of Plustek USB-devices seem to contain a
Genesys Logic chipset inside, which is not supported by any SANE
backend so far.
As my contact to Plustek seems to get lost somehow, I don't expect,
that I will be able to write a driver....

Sorry
  Gerhard
