Hallo,
until Suse 9.0 did my parport Scanner Plustek Optic Pro 9696T works correctly.
But with SUSE 9.1 does y have problems.
The File modsetver.h is not available.
Y does it download fom linuxhacker.org and put it 
into /lib/modules/2.6.4-54.5-default/build/include/linux/modsetver.h.
Durin a new compile arrising a error

src/misc.c:834: warning: implicit declaration of function `parport_enumerate'

make: *** [obj/misc.o] Fehler 1

As SuSE 9.1 uses the 2.6 kernel series, you could not use the old
kernelmodules anymore.
Download on of the latest sane-backend snapshots from sane-project.org
unpack it and for building a kernel module go to the directory doc/plustek.
There the script MakeModule.sh will be your friend.
