This is a bad state of affairs to be in. What I suggest is this: I (or
someone else if it's more suitable) can post to Slashdot explaining
the situation. I could suggest that people with Primax scanners should
contact Primax explaining that they would like linux support
for the devices, and request that the source code be supplied to
the Primax for Linux group.
There doesn't seem to be anything to lose by this, and if the word
spreads to enough people Primax might actually do something.
What address should people email their complaints to? The technical
support address is useless - a more direct route is needed.
