Hi Chris, I have got the same scanner with the same problems and with bad news: The scanner is not supported at all. This subject was in the mailinglist months ago. And today there is no solution at all. Perhaps someone has found one, but has not posted it here. If you are able to write a driver or to find the bug, please do it.
