Hello everyone.

I'm new here.
I was told to join here if I wanted a driver for Primax Colorado D600
(in terms: if you REALLY need it, just do it by yourself).
So here I am :-)
But there is a small problem on the begining. I noticed that you are
just working on the code, but unfortunately I don't have it. So can I
have a copy?

Best regards,
Pawel.

Well, we´re not really working on D600 Code, but there are also guys on this
list which made their D600 work... The driver code for the Primax Colorado
Direct can be downloaded from our homepage:
http://thor.prohosting.com/~chrordig/Primax/.

There are different types of Primax Colorado D600 scanners. Some models with
30Bit are known to work after some source modifications.

Good luck!

Who was that? Primax?

It depends on your model. Some D600 are working with the old code,
some don't. I have just finished my study at the university and for
the next couple of weeks, i am having no plans. So there is plenty of
time for the Scanner Project. I will write a sane backend for the
current version very soon, add at least the wakeup sequence for the
newer Primax scanner and add the spp-mode stuff, so folks with no
epp can scan too.
